How To Properly Clean and Care For Your Love Pretty Mink Lashes
We know a lot of you have been waiting for this article for a while but we wanted to take the time to figure out the best way to clean and care for your Mink Lashes so that it was easy and simple.
Like everything we do, we love to break it down and make it easy for you to tend and care for your mink lashes so you can maximize the longevity of your lash. We just have three easy steps to clean and care for your mink lashes.
Couple things to keep in mind...
First and foremost, do not get your mink lashes wet or soak them in anything. It could ruin the curl of your lashes.
Second, keep in mind that it may take multiple wears before you actually see the glue build-up. If you don’t have any glue build-up, please skip to step 3.
Third, be precise and careful with the glue picking. You don't want to tear apart the band or lash.
Time: ~8mins total
What you need:

Q-tips
1. Soften Glue build up with Oil-Free Makeup Remover
We love using Clinique Rinse-Off Eye Solvent as our oil-free makeup remover because it is truly oil-free (micellar water and biphase “oil-free” removers still contain oils). We dip a q-tip into the eye makeup remover and run the q-tip along the lash band to soften up the glue and clean off any eye shadow or glitter.
2. Pick off the Glue...BE GENTLE
Once the glue has softened, we gently loosen the glue away from the lash band so we are able to distinguish what is actually glue and what is the lash band.
After you gently loosen the glue along the entire lash band, gently pull off the glue with tweezers. Don't forget to hold the lashes at the same area you're picking off the glue so you don't accidentally peel off any hairs or the lash band.
3. Sanitize the band
Dip a clean q-tip into the rubbing alcohol so that it's damp and run it along the lash band. This will sanitize the lash band and remove any residual oils that result from use.
After you clean your mink lashes, we recommend storing them in your Love Pretty Boxes so you can keep them dust-free and clean.
Enjoy your clean mink lashes!
